My Healthbook Next, we have My Healthbook, this has a lot of the same fields as Health Snapshot that we covered at the beginning. This shows you things like Conditions, who your Care Team are, any Allergies and Medicines. These are areas where you can add as much or as little information as you’d like. It’s here to help you keep all your records in one place. Let’s walk through adding medicines together, click on the word and it will take you to My Medicines page.
On My Medicines page, you can add your medication and set reminders, click on + (plus sign) or Add Medicine.
It will open to page where a photo can be loaded of the medication bottle label or search for the medication name. For adding a photo, follow the same prompts we saw when adding the insurance card.
Or you can tap on medicine name and start typing the name that shows on the label. When you start typing it will show a list of medication with that name, add in the dose and it will filter down more.
Here is an example, type in aspirin and it shows a long list of different aspirins. Now add in the dose amount the list becomes shorter. Select the one you want, and it will show in the box where you were typing.
Add what condition this medication is for and how often you take it, when done, select Save Medicine.
If you selected Regularly, then it will show Let’s set your schedule. Say how often and what time you take it and how many you take. Now if your medication is taken every other day or only on Fridays, there are options for that. Click on the word Every day and it will show more options to choose from.
Selecting Every other day, the Start Date indicates what day you last took a dose, that way you’ll get reminders on the right days. To do this, tap on the calendar icon under the Start Date, a calendar will show with current month, click on the day of your last dose, the calendar will go away and that date will now show.
If this medication is taken twice or three times a day, select Add Another Dose, go through the same process we just did as many times as needed for the medication.
If you hit this button by mistake, select Cancel and it will go away.
When done adding the medication, how often and all the doses, select Save Medication. It gives you a popup indicating the medication was saved and takes you to Medicine Details. Listing details about the medication and giving Potential Interactions and Most common side effects. When done select the back in the upper left.
This will take you back to My Medicines, showing added medications, you can add more or set dose reminders for other medications.
